 24 Hours of Booty, Inc. announced today that registration for its 2012 cancer charity cycling events, including the  Fourth Annual 24 Hours of Booty of Columbia, will kick off on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012 at 9:00AM (EST). All participants must register online atwww.24hoursofbooty.org.


Also on Jan. 4, 24 Hours of Booty will hold a kickoff celebration from 6:00PM – 9:00PM at Union Jack’s, 10400 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia, where the community can learn more about 24 Hours of Booty and those who sign up on the spot will receive $10 off registration.


The annual charity non-competitive cycling event for all ages and cycling abilities is scheduled to roll on the “Booty Loop” in the Columbia Gateway Business Park from 2:00PM Saturday, August 25 to 2:00PM Sunday, August 26, 2012.


To participate in the Columbia event, each rider is required to pay a $65 fee to register and raise a minimum of $200 prior to the ride. For more information or to sign up for the event, visit www.24hoursofbooty.org.


“We are looking forward to another fantastic event this summer and thank Howard County, along with all of our riders, sponsors, and donors for their support of 24 Hours of Booty in the fight against cancer,” said Basil Lyberg, executive director of 24 Hours of Booty.


In addition to the Columbia event, 24 Hours of Booty will also host the 11th Annual 24 Hours of Booty presented by Levine Cancer Institute and the Third Annual 24 Hours of Booty of Atlanta on Saturday, Oct. 6-Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012. The location for the Atlanta event is still being finalized.


24 Hours of Booty will also be expanding to Indianapolis – its fourth market – where it will host the 24 Hours of Booty of Indianapolis at Butler University on Friday, June 29-Saturday, June 30, 2012.
