Prince George's County residents may be getting a call from one of their "neighbors" soon -- the University of Maryland School of Public Health. The school will conduct a telephone survey in late January and February to ask Prince George's County residents about their views on health and health-care services in the county.

Student bankers at Parkdale High School are featured in a cover story for the Maryland Bankers Association’s quarterly magazine about financial institutions’ community involvement. 

Capital One Bank opened a branch last fall at Parkdale, the only student-run branch in the metro Washington region. Ten students operate the branch under the supervision of Capital One managers. The program offers students and faculty basic banking services while promoting youth financial literacy.
