Democratic Nominee for County Executive, Rushern Baker,talked education with officials on Wednesday, September 15, during lunch at Suitland High School.
Nominee Baker spoke about his commitment to make Prince George's County improve its education.
“Every child in Prince George’s County deserves a quality teacher, adequate resources and a comfortable learning environment," Baker said. "Today we begin to make it happen.”

- The Education Jobs Bill
- Race to the Top funding
- As well as the school systems fiscal outlook
Nominee Baker was joined by Prince George’s School Superintendent William R. Hite, Prince George’s County Education Association representative Christian Rhodes and Suitland High School Principal Mark Fossett.
