Food & Friends with preparing and packaging meals.

women, and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other

life-challenging illnesses by preparing and delivering

specialized meals and groceries in conjunction with nutrition

FedEx volunteers will contribute to the preparation and

delivery of 3,700 nutritious meals, which are produced each

day to ensure that the critically ill neighbors supported by the

Food & Friends network in a 5,300 square mile area around

Washington, DC, receive the sustenance they need to fight

their illness and the challenging side-effects related to

treatment. This year, Food & Friends will prepare and deliver

nearly 1.1 million meals.

opportunity for FedEx employees to give back to the

communities they serve.
