According to The Prince George’s County Police Department's Robbery Unit , they are working to identify the suspects shown in the above surveillance photographs.

 

Police Investigate Homicide in Fairmount Heights

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the murder of 34 year-old Antwain Elisha Henderson that occurred early Wednesday morning in Fairmount Heights, Maryland.

On August 31, 2011, at approximately 5:00 a.m., patrol officers and fire fighters responded to the 800 block of Balsamtree Place for a vehicle fire.  Once the fire was extinguished, the burned body of Henderson, of the 5600 block of Coolidge Street, Capitol Heights, Maryland, was discovered inside the vehicle.  Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case.  The investigation is ongoing in this case.

25 Vehicles Pulled Over at DUI Checkpoint

 

The Howard County Department of Police conducted a Sobriety Checkpoint on Friday, August 19, 2011 into the morning hours of Saturday, August 20th.  The Checkpoint was established on eastbound MD Rt. 175 at Columbia Gateway Drive in Columbia.

844 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, which was manned by Howard County Police Officers and Maryland State Police Troopers. Representatives of the local chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) were also in attendance.

 Twenty Five (25) vehicles were pulled over for further examination and Ten (10) drivers were arrested and charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol. Two drivers were arrested for a drug violation.

Suspect Sought in Silver Spring Stabbing

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police-3rd District Investigative Section are investigating an aggravated assault that occurred in Silver Spring.

On August 9, at approximately 4:48 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to the 13000 block of Robey Road for a stabbing that just occurred.  They found the victim, a 57-year-old male, suffering from stab wounds.  The victim stated that he was walking on Robey Road near Briggs Chaney Road when a subject walked up behind him and stabbed him in the back. The suspect fled on foot toward Robey Terrace. Despite an intense search conducted by patrol and K9 officers, officers were unable to locate the suspect.

Friday, August 12th, detectives released a description of the assailant. The suspect is described as a 15-18- year-old black male, 5’5” tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds.

Police Make Arrest in Attempt Murder/Arson Investigation in Lanham

Prince George’s County, Maryland: The Prince George’s County Police Department’s District II Investigative Section has arrested Deanthony Nathan Bagley, 23, of the 600 block of 64th Avenue in Seat Pleasant, Maryland, in connection with the arson and attempted murder of a family yesterday morning in Lanham, Maryland.

Bagley has been charged with five counts of attempted 1st degree murder, one count of 1st degree assault, five counts of 1st degree arson, and one count of 2nd degree arson.  He is currently remanded to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections and is being held on a no-bond status.
