Beltsville Man Admits To Committing Seven Bank Robberies

Samuel Lewis, age 44, of Beltsville, Maryland, pleaded guilty to bank robbery, being a felon in possession of a gun and using a gun during a bank robbery. 

 The guilty plea was announced by United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein; Special Agent in Charge Richard A. McFeely of the Federal Bureau of Investigation; Chief J. Thomas Manger of the Montgomery County Police Department; and Montgomery County State’s Attorney John McCarthy.

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has obtained an arrest warrant for 26 year-old Tyrone Lewis in connection with the homicide of Lenwood “Lenny” Harris in Fort Washington, Maryland.

PGPD Announces Investigative Discovery in Police-Involved Shooting in Brentwood

The following information was sent to us by the Prince George's County Police:

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Special Investigation Response Team (SIRT) has discovered video tape evidence that does not support the initial version of events reported regarding the February 3, 2012 police-involved shooting in Brentwood.  As a result of this discovery, the PGPD has requested the State’s Attorney’s Office amend the criminal charges against Ryan Keith Dorm.
